Thicker than i expected from photos, but not a bad thing.
Proportionally the right shape, it came with no blemishes in a silky plastic pouch sealed with a little derui sticker. It has a nice weight to it, and feels solid as a result. The striking wheel is smooth and it lights reliably. I thought the flame was set a little high but i find it performs better if i leave it at around that height. The lid opens and closes very snappily, with a metal clinking sound both ways that i've come to enjoy. The carving design on the case seems perfectly accurate and the color of the plating seems true to the photos as well. I'm exceptionally pleased with the purchase at the price point, with my literal only two complaints being that it did not come with a manual, and that it is a little bit loud when making use of the torch, but i can find a manual online and, well, it's a torch lighter- they're not exactly known for being quiet.
